Film & Arts transmite ao vivo no próximo dia 9, a nova edição dos Prêmios Tony, com cobertura do influencer brasileiro Igor Saringer

 

Pelo 19º ano consecutivo, canal mostra premiação ao vivo direto de Nova York (EUA) a partir das 21h

 

                                                                                      

São Paulo, 7 de junho de 2019 – No próximo domingo, dia 9, às 21h, o Film & Arts transmitirá, ao vivo e direto de Nova York (EUA), a nova entrega dos Prêmios Tony, a maior premiação da Broadway. A convite da emissora, o influenciador digital Igor Saringer, especializado em cultura pop e teatro musical, que tem mais de 1,7 milhão de seguidores no seu canal do YouTube, fará uma cobertura completa da premiação diretamente do tapete vermelho. Por meio de um takeover no perfil do Film & Arts (@filmandartsbr), ao longo de todo o dia do evento, Igor vai mostrar os detalhes dos bastidores da grande festa do teatro.

A 73ª edição da cerimônia será conduzida por James Corden, vencedor dos prêmios Tony e Emmy e apresentador do "The Late Late Show with James Corden", que se tornou sensação viral graças ao quadro "Carpool Karaoke". O evento terá ainda a participação de Tina Fey, Samuel L. Jackson, Jake Gyllenhaal, Josh Groban, Darren Criss, Lucy Liu e mais estrelas do mundo do entretenimento.

Entre os grandes indicados da premiação, que tem 26 categorias competitivas e cinco honoríficas estão "Hadestown", " Ain't Too Proud" e "Tootsie", nas categorias de musical, e "The Ferryman", "To Kill a Mockingbird" e "Gary: A Sequel to Titus Andronicus" para trabalhos de texto.

A lista de apresentadores desta edição conta com vencedores do prêmio, como Ben Platt ("Dear Evan Hansen"), Audra McDonald ("Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune"), Sutton Foster ("The Music Man") e Billy Porter ("Pose"). Assim como Darren Criss ("Assassination of Gianni Versace"), Tina Fey ("Mean Girls"), Samuel L. Jackson ("The Mountaintop"), LaTanya Richardson Jackson ("To Kill A Mockingbird"), Regina King ("If Beale Street Could Talk"), Laura Linney (em breve em "My Name Is Lucy Barton"), Andrew Rannells ("The Boys in the Band") e Michael Shannon ("Frankie and Johnny").
